Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gonnovan Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ribeiro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ribeiro keeps working.

Stone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ribeiro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stone has control of Ribeiro's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ribeiro regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ribeiro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ribeiro to the mat! Ribeiro manages to get full guard.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ribeiro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stone shoots in and bounces Ribeiro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
