Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Vieira!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vieira.
Pitt appears to be looking for a big counter.
Pitt lands with a nice combination. Vieira backs away looking to recover.
Pitt lands a two punch combo.
Vieira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Pitt counter with a right hand.
Pitt stalks Vieira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vieira's face. Vieira staggers backwards, shaken.
Vieira takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Pitt does it's job there.
Pitt punishes Vieira's body with a nice straight punch.
Pitt connects with a leg kick.
Pitt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pitt duly obliges.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pitt!

Pitt drops Vieira with a beautiful combination! Vieira stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pitt is looking for the KO!

Vieira is rocked!

Pitt throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Vieira's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Pitt dives in looking to finish as Vieira flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pitt's strikes! Pitt is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Vieira's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Vieira was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
