PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bolo Yueng (ranked 786 p4p, 1427 weight class) and Jethro Boudreaux (ranked 116 p4p, 214 weight class). Yueng kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stranglehold by Ted Nugent . Boudreaux has chosen Degenerate Boy - Mark of Cain as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yueng fails to land the takedown.
Boudreaux looks like he wants to counter punch here.

A jab-cross combination lands for Boudreaux and sends Yueng crashing to the mat! Boudreaux follows him down to the mat - Yueng regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Yueng is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boudreaux pulls his head out easily.

Yueng got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boudreaux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yueng has managed to get both his arms back between Boudreaux's legs - danger averted.

Yueng is taking a breather. Boudreaux says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Yueng shoots for a double leg takedown but Boudreaux sprawls well. He's pushed Yueng 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boudreaux fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yueng has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Boudreaux gets through Yueng 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Boudreaux lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yueng backwards.

The referee is keeping an eye on Boudreaux - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Yueng is working for takedown but Boudreaux is calmly controlling the position for now.

Boudreaux scores with a hook to the body. Yueng takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Boudreaux drops Yueng with a right and a left! Boudreaux comes rushing in but Yueng regains his composure and manages to keep Boudreaux in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yueng looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boudreaux is one step ahead there.

Boudreaux stands up and waves to Yueng to follow him.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Boudreaux moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Yueng ! Boudreaux continues to tee off on Yueng , landing with a left and a right! Boudreaux connects with a right hand that leaves Yueng sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Boudreaux!
