Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Son Of Dan (ranked 2955 p4p, 1296 weight class) and Daron Acemoglu (ranked 376 p4p, 192 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Acemoglu throws the left hand but Dan avoids the punch easily.
Acemoglu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Acemoglu swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Acemoglu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Acemoglu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Acemoglu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dan's guard.

Acemoglu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Acemoglu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Acemoglu uses his free foot to push down on Dan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dan.
Acemoglu has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at For Pride and Prodigies. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
