Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mister Twister (ranked 4482 p4p, 3857 weight class) and Kikuchiyo Mifune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mifune has chosen Seven Samurai as his entrance music. Kikuchiyo Mifune has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twister tries a head kick but it misses.
Twister is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Twister needs to keep his hands up - Mifune had a free shot at his head there.

Twister seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mifune does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Twister is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mifune is just riding it out for now. Twister eventually gives up the hold.

Twister decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Mifune lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Twister backwards.

Mifune lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Twister or not.
Mifune lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Twister takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mifune creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mifune pushes Twister against the cage. Mifune is working some dirty boxing. Mifune pushes off with a quick right hook! Twister goes down! Twister tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Mifune moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Kikuchiyo Mifune decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
