Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dame Nitro (ranked 24271 p4p, 23073 weight class) and Sophie Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nitro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Nitro persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Nitro decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nitro defends it nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Salvacion gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nitro to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nitro has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Salvacion is on him like a limpet, forcing Nitro back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Salvacion struggles to land a body shot inside as Nitro controls his hands.

That was a close round but I would say that Dame Nitro will probably get the nod.
