Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Zaitsev makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Miles Iii connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Zaitsev looks to land a combination but Miles Iii avoids it well.

Miles Iii uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zaitsev.
Miles Iii ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A decent looking cross lands there for Miles Iii.
Zaitsev getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Zaitsev throws a front kick aimed at Miles Iii's knee but Miles Iii avoids it well.
It looks like Miles Iii has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Miles Iii lands a leg kick that knocks Zaitsev off balance momentarily.
Miles Iii throws a leg kick which misses Zaitsev's front leg but catches the back leg as Zaitsev tries to avoid it.

Zaitsev throws a body kick that misses.
A jab from Miles Iii does it's job there.
Zaitsev cracks Miles Iii with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Boobie Miles Iii is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miles Iii tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zaitsev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Miles Iii avoids the body shot from Zaitsev.
Miles Iii appears to be looking for a big counter.
Zaitsev cracks Miles Iii with a good jab.
Miles Iii just misses with a punch to the body.
Miles Iii stalks Zaitsev and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zaitsev's face. Zaitsev staggers backwards, shaken.
Zaitsev takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zaitsev misses with a hook
and Miles Iii counters with a nice uppercut.
Zaitsev checks a leg kick.
Zaitsev throws a leg kick which misses Miles Iii's front leg but catches the back leg as Miles Iii tries to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Miles Iii counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miles Iii throws a big shot that misses.
Miles Iii lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A left lands for Zaitsev.

Miles Iii ducks under a wild hook from Zaitsev.
Zaitsev takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The fighters circle momentarily. Miles Iii darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Miles Iii tries to clinch up but Zaitsev circles away and keeps his distance.
Zaitsev scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Zaitsev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Zaitsev keeps the fight on the outside.
Zaitsev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miles Iii moves away.
Miles Iii avoids the body shot from Zaitsev.
Zaitsev slips a jab and a cross from Miles Iii.
Miles Iii tries to move into range but Zaitsev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Zaitsev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zaitsev throws out a counter right but Miles Iii avoids it with no problem.
Miles Iii falls off balance throwing a combination
and Zaitsev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Miles Iii cracks Zaitsev with an open hand slap.

Zaitsev misses with an uppercut
and Miles Iii counters with an inside leg kick.
Miles Iii lands with a hook. Zaitsev tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Zaitsev on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Miles Iii dips to his left and cracks Zaitsev with an uppercut!
Zaitsev looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Miles Iii staggers Zaitsev with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Zaitsev looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Zaitsev is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zaitsev walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Boobie Miles Iii!
Boobie Miles Iii got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
