Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, George Backman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bastard throws a sloppy body shot
and Backman counters with a nice uppercut.

Bastard is rocked!
A slow jab from Bastard misses its intended target.
Bastard is still on wobbly legs! Can Backman finish him?
Bastard throws a right hand that Backman ducks under and follows up with a left that Backman also avoids with ease.
Bastard seems to have recovered his senses.
Crunch! Backman slams his shin into Bastard's torso.
Backman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bastard throws out the jab.
Bastard takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Backman scores with a one two! Bastard had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Backman moves out of range as Bastard strikes.
That kick from Backman tenderised Bastard's leg. Bastard is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bastard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Backman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bastard throws out a loose jab but Backman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Backman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A slapping leg kick lands for Backman.
Backman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bastard.
Backman scores with a jab to the body.
Bastard takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bastard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Backman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bastard.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Backman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bastard.
Backman appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Backman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Backman slips under a jab from Bastard.

Backman fakes the leg kick and cracks Bastard in the body.

Backman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bastard throws a body shot but no joy.

Bastard drops his guard momentarily, allowing Backman to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Bastard! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Backman takes it!
