Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kona Uluwehi (ranked 2898 p4p, 4873 weight class) and Mason Marmot (ranked 384 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kona Uluwehi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mason Marmot !
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Uluwehi does no damage.
Marmot misses with a takedown attempt - Uluwehi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Uluwehi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Uluwehi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marmot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Uluwehi appears to be looking for a big counter.
Uluwehi cracks Marmot with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uluwehi misses with a double jab.
Uluwehi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Uluwehi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marmot counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Uluwehi thinking.
Marmot looks winded!
Marmot takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Uluwehi connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Marmot tumbling to the canvas! Uluwehi pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Marmot was done - good stoppage!
