PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thompson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kreator - Extreme Aggressions. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Norris throws out the jab.
Thompson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Norris's waist but Norris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.
Oooh a lovely combination from Norris sends Thompson down but not out. Norris dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Nick Thompson has been cut.
Thompson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Norris off and has taken his back!
Norris looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Thompson looking for the choke but no joy.

Thompson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Norris has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thompson is cranking Norris's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Norris! He's tightened the choke and Norris is tapping out!
