Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zy is looking to land body kicks.
Backman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zy missing with a left hand there. Backman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zy throws a leg kick but Backman moved away.
Backman swings widly with a right hand

and Zy counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Backman on his ass! Backman wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

Backman is rocked!
George Backman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zy cracks Backman with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Backman is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Backman is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Backman could not beat the count!
