Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth-Trust. Vasquel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Halo-Street Fighter kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ramirez is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasquel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramirez's guard.
Ramirez is breathing heavily.
Ramirez is looking to stand up but Vasquel isn't so interested in that idea.

Vasquel gets to his feet. Ramirez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ramirez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Alex Ramirez has been cut.

Vasquel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ramirez to the mat! Ramirez manages to get full guard.

Vasquel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Vasquel drops back looking for a leg! Ramirez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ramirez manages to kick Vasquel off! Vasquel jumps back into Ramirez's guard.

Ramirez has his foot on Vasquel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vasquel works his way back into a safe position though.

Ramirez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vasquel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vasquel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ramirez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
