De Sucre comes to the ring accompanied by Bolivianos el Hado Propicio. Begbie has chosen Raining Blood as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 45 - 53 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Jose De Sucre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Francis Begbie!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Begbie throws a nice head kick!
Begbie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
De Sucre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Begbie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from De Sucre.
Begbie throws a head kick but De Sucre moves out of range.
De Sucre throws a jab when Begbie was well out of range.
Begbie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
De Sucre throws a head kick that misses.

Begbie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Sucre, pushing him back against the ropes.

De Sucre breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Begbie gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Begbie tries to clinch up.
De Sucre looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Begbie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

De Sucre throws out a loose jab but Begbie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Begbie ducks under a wild hook from De Sucre.
De Sucre misses with a looping left.
A little jabbing left from Begbie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
De Sucre throws a jab when Begbie was well out of range.

Begbie instigates a clinch.

Begbie breaks the clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Begbie.

Begbie has De Sucre up against the ropes in a clinch.
De Sucre blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

De Sucre breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
De Sucre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
De Sucre throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Begbie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
De Sucre swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Begbie to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Antonio Jose De Sucre has been cut.

Begbie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Sucre, pushing him back against the ropes.
Begbie struggles to land a body shot inside as De Sucre controls his hands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

De Sucre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick by De Sucre misses
and Begbie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Antonio Jose De Sucre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
De Sucre misses with a hook.
Begbie wants to counter the offense by De Sucre and move into the clinch position.

Begbie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

De Sucre escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Sucre throws a right hand that misses
and Begbie counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
De Sucre is breathing heavily.
De Sucre throws a head kick but Begbie moves out of range.

Begbie clinches.

De Sucre escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Begbie lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Begbie.
De Sucre misses the shot to the body.
Begbie scores with a three punch combo!

De Sucre is rocked!

Begbie darts in and clinches De Sucre up against the ropes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

De Sucre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Begbie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Begbie closes the distance and catches De Sucre with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! De Sucre is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and De Sucre is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! De Sucre is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Begbie takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Francis Begbie!
An out of breath Francis Begbie thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
