Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marques Moura (ranked 2581 p4p, 5513 weight class) and Finan OConnell (ranked 331 p4p, 0 weight class). Moura's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sepultura - Tainted Love. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnell misses with a hook

so Moura counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Moura has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Moura throws a strike but OConnell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Moura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
OConnell throws a big right hand that misses.
Moura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That has opened up Finan OConnell's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
