Floyd's entrance music is Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Southall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Floyd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Southall moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

It looks like Neville Southall has been cut.
A nice leg kick from Southall, right into the meat of the thigh.
Southall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Floyd.
Floyd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Southall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Floyd counters with a crisp right hand that drops Southall! Floyd lets Southall back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

A telegraphed right hand from Floyd misses the target.
Southall's coach down at Tran MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Southall's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Floyd feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Southall sprawling to the canvas! Southall rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Floyd finish him?!

Southall is rocked!

That has opened up Neville Southall's cut even more.
Floyd loads up on a big right hand but Southall slips the punch.
Southall avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Floyd displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Southall throws out the jab.

Southall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Floyd paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Floyd makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Floyd throws a jab but it's blocked by Southall.

and Floyd counters with a nice right hand that sends Southall toppling to the canvas! Southall scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Floyd finish him?!
Southall is still on wobbly legs! Can Floyd finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Southall steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Floyd.
Southall seems to have recovered his senses.
Southall is looking to land body kicks.
Floyd gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Floyd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Southall moves away.
Southall walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Floyd checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Floyd counters with a big right hand! Oh Southall is in trouble here! Floyd follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
