Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smakma Bytchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bytchup has chosen Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Smakma Bytchup will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bytchup has managed to clinch.
Conway displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bytchup up against the cage.
Conway trying to control the position but instead, Bytchup has worked for underhooks and has pushed Conway into the cage.

Conway is trying to maintain a safe position but Bytchup gets an underhook and turns Conway into the cage.

Conway lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bytchup!
Bytchup is squirming around, avoiding Conway's attempts to control the action.

Conway with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Conway wants to free his trapped foot but Bytchup is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conway perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bytchup is refusing to be controlled, as Conway sits in half guard.
Conway is looking to advance position but Bytchup won't allow it.
Bytchup tries to roll over but Conway keeps him under control.
Conway is pressing down on Bytchup's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bytchup is holding on for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Conway tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bytchup swivels and escapes.
