Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ife Edwards!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojcik tries to clinch but Edwards is having none of it.
We've been told by Wojcik's head coaches at Russian Bears Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Edwards takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Ife Edwards has been cut.
Wojcik jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wojcik looks to throw the jab but Edwards is out of range.
Edwards looks to land a right hand but Wojcik moved out of range.
Ryszard Wojcik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edwards swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wojcik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Edwards uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Ryszard Wojcik has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards throws a sloppy head kick
and Wojcik counters with a nice body shot.

Wojcik looks to land a right hand but Edwards moved out of range.
Edwards moves away from the strike by Wojcik.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wojcik crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Edwards - the referee stops the clock and Wojcik gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Edwards. Wojcik manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Edwards throws a lazy uppercut
letting Wojcik counter with a right hand.

Edwards throws the left hand but Wojcik avoids the punch easily.
Wojcik on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Edwards looks to score with a jab to the body but Wojcik is just out of range.
Edwards misses with a shot to the body
and Wojcik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wojcik misses with a wild body shot.

Edwards misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Wojcik wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wojcik throws an overhand right that lands on Edwards's shoulder, as Edwards tries to avoid the shot.
Edwards misses with a low kick.
Edwards throws the left hand but Wojcik avoids the punch easily.
Edwards misses with a straight right.
Edwards connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

letting Wojcik counter with a right hand.

Edwards now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wojcik lands with a shot to the body.
Wojcik throws a lazy uppercut
and Edwards counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wojcik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Edwards.
Edwards appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Wojcik comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Edwards - that will leave a mark!
Edwards misses the jab.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wojcik!
Edwards does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wojcik was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Wojcik throws a right hand that misses
enabling Edwards to counter with a crisp jab.

Ryszard Wojcik's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Edwards cracks a nice hook into Wojcik's ribs.

Edwards cracks Wojcik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Edwards has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wojcik to stand back up!

Wojcik is rocked!
Edwards scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Wojcik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Edwards throws a powerful right kick. Wojcik tried to block low but the kick was high! Wojcik was taken right off of his feet! Edwards jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
