Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Cole (ranked 898 p4p, 912 weight class) and Arthur Pendragon (ranked 131 p4p, 135 weight class). Cole comes to the cage accompanied by I Won't Back Down. Arthur Pendragon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Pendragon!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon throws a poor cross that misses
and Cole counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Arthur Pendragon has been cut.
Pendragon lands with an uppercut that bounces Cole off the cage and back into range.
Cole looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cole throws the left hand but Pendragon avoids the punch easily.

and Cole counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pendragon thuds his right hand into Cole's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Cole has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cole there as he acknowledges the shot.

Pendragon throws a lazy right hand but Cole sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pendragon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Pendragon is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

The crowd cheers as Pendragon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cole doesn't seem phased though.
Pendragon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Cole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pendragon was well out of range. Poor timing from Cole.

Pendragon throws a looping overhand right but Cole ducks down to avoid it.
Cole throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It seemed like Pendragon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cole just misses with a punch to the body.

Cole ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pendragon moves away.
Pendragon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cole swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Cole. Those never looked like landing.
Cole shoots in for a double leg but Pendragon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Good exchange - Cole coming out on top.

Cole seems to have got his legs back now.

Cole throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Pendragon to counter with a crisp jab.
Arthur Pendragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cole scores with a nice strike.
Pendragon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cole had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Pendragon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cole misses the shot to the body.
Cole takes one to the chin there.
Cole needs to keep his hands up - Pendragon had a free shot at his head there.

and Cole counters with a right hand to the body.
Cole drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Pendragon punishes Cole's body with a nice straight punch.

Cole was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Cole goes for a double leg but Pendragon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pendragon continues to drive forward.

Pendragon lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cole drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pendragon pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
