Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Jack (ranked 354 p4p, 420 weight class) and Elazar Shalit (ranked 39 p4p, 50 weight class). Jack's entrance music is Lucid Dreams. A fine choice. Taylor Jack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Elazar Shalit!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack is looking to clinch but Shalit is avoiding it.
Shalit throws a hook to the side of Jack's head but Jack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've been informed that Shalit has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice uppercut lands for Jack. That snapped Shalit's head back.
Shalit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jack's hands.
Shalit takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Shalit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jack moves away.
Jack quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Shalit is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shalit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jack on the side of the head.
Shalit cracks Jack with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jack swings for the body but Shalit moves out of range.
Shalit misses with an uppercut. Jack saw that one coming.

Shalit lands a big right hand that sends Jack crashing to the mat! Shalit stays standing though and waves Jack back to his feet!

Jack is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shalit misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jack counters with a straight right hand.
Jack definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jack lands a head shot.
Shalit lands with an overhand left.
Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Jack seems to have got his legs back now.
Jack cracks Shalit with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Shalit sends Jack crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Shalit is motioning to the referee to let Jack up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
A jab from Jack finds it's way through Shalit's defenses.
Jack steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shalit.
Shalit walks into a straight right hand from Jack.
Jack misses with a right hand
and Shalit scores with a counter punch that sends Jack to the canvas! Shalit smells blood - he's punishing Jack with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jack has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elazar Shalit!
