Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Po Lemaire (ranked 4576 p4p, 4628 weight class) and Jayson Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemaire shoots in but Roy avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Roy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lemaire gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Roy to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lemaire has his foot on Roy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roy works his way back into a safe position though.

Lemaire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roy's guard.

Roy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lemaire is aware though and is defending well.

Lemaire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lemaire wants to control from the top but Roy keeps moving.

Lemaire got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lemaire has managed to get both his arms back between Roy's legs - danger averted.

Roy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lemaire dives on top into guard.

Roy is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lemaire to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Roy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lemaire, up you get!

Roy drives through with a takedown into Lemaire's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Lemaire shoots for a double leg takedown but Roy sprawls well. He's pushed Lemaire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Po Lemaire. That's going to take a lot out of him.

enabling Roy to counter with a crisp jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lemaire enables Roy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lemaire manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roy has got one arm under Lemaire's chin. This could be trouble... Lemaire trying to control the other hand but Roy gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Lemaire has tapped out! The fight is over!
