Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Tocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tieto Enator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tocha comes into the arena with That Golden Rule blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tocha shoots for a double leg takedown but Enator sprawls well. He's pushed Tocha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tocha slips under a jab.
Tocha lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Enator throws the left hand but Tocha avoids the punch easily.
Nice shot lands for Enator.
Tocha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Enator.

Tocha drives through with a takedown into guard.
Enator will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Tocha prevents Enator from improving his position.
Tocha thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Tocha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Enator is just riding it out for now. Tocha eventually gives up the hold.

Tocha is looking for a kimura but Enator is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tocha to get the leverage.

Enator can't keep his opponent in guard - Tocha advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Enator is staying active underneath Tocha, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Enator wants to get back to full guard but Tocha has passed into side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tocha lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Enator tries to reverse the position but Tocha maintains control.
Enator sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Tocha has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Enator is proving hard to escape from.

Tocha has his foot on Enator's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Enator works his way back into a safe position though.

Enator thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tocha's head.
Enator wants to take a breather but Tocha is having none of it.

Tocha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Enator does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tocha lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tocha is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Enator defends it well.
Tocha slips a nice elbow through Enator's hands, connecting with Enator's forehead.

Tocha looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tocha frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tocha is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Enator can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Enator is looking to improve his position but Tocha isn't that keen on the idea.

Tocha misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Enator lands with an uppercut that bounces Tocha off the ropes and back into rage.

Tocha fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Enator looks to score with a jab to the body but Tocha is just out of range.

Tocha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Enator is fending him off so far but Tocha persists. Nope, Enator circles away and we're back to standing.

Enator working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tocha doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tocha manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tocha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Enator's waist but Enator gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tocha off to one side.

Tieto Enator has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tieto Enator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tocha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Enator swats him away and circles back towards the center.
