Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Garcia (ranked 465 p4p, 346 weight class) and Donnie Larkin (ranked 59 p4p, 48 weight class). Garcia comes to the cage accompanied by S.G. Sinnicks - St Patrick Battalion. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnie Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Larkin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Garcia.

It looks like Donnie Larkin has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garcia. Larkin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garcia keeps the fight on the outside.
Garcia lands with a straight right. Larkin didn't see that one coming.
Garcia connects with a body shot that sends Larkin's belly button to the back.

Larkin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Garcia to the ground. Larkin is now in Garcia's guard.

Larkin looks up at the clock and then as Garcia takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Larkin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Larkin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Larkin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Larkin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Garcia defends it well.
Larkin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Larkin stalling away here and it's allowed Garcia to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Donnie Larkin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Mickey Garcia was interviewed post fight and said 'Can't believe the commission let me fight with Hep C...'.
