Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cade Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Britantica Cadman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cade Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cade Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Britantica Cadman!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Cadman which made him look bad.

Cadman shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.

Cadman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cadman trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cadman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cadman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Brown keeping full guard, as Cadman tries to pass.
Cadman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cadman fails with the takedown

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cadman won't be happy with that.
Cadman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brown's best efforts.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cadman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cadman wants to sweep but no luck.

Cadman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cadman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Brown is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Cadman has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cadman is persistently looking for the submission but Brown is defending it well.
Brown wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.
Brown wants to control his opponent's hands but Cadman gets his hands free.

Brown tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cadman quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Cadman but it's paid off an Brown is forced to tap! Nice work by Cadman.
