Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam Joshy (ranked 2277 p4p, 2523 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 281 p4p, 315 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bam Bam Joshy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joshy moves away.
A jab lands there for Joshy.
Lynar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joshy pinned against the cage. Joshy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Joshy is looking to counter the offense by Lynar and move into the clinch.
A cross from Joshy lands.
Nice sprawl there from Joshy as Lynar shoots in.
Lynar moves out of range as Joshy strikes.
Lynar slips a straight right by Joshy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joshy throws a lazy right hand but Lynar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Joshy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lynar.
We've been informed that Lynar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Joshy throws a looping overhand right but Lynar ducks down to avoid it.
Joshy really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

and Lynar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lynar.

Lynar passes Joshy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joshy tries to get to full guard but Lynar has control of the leg.
Joshy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Joshy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lynar is working away from the top position though.
Joshy is looking for a sweep. Lynar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lynar is working for a kimura but Joshy is defending it quite comfortably.

Lynar happy to just control the position for now.

Lynar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lynar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Joshy is looking for a sweep.
Joshy seems a little lost for a moment, as Lynar dominates the positioning.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Lynar is trying to get an arm triangle but Joshy is defending well.
Lynar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Joshy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Joshy is trying to control Lynar's posture but Lynar avoids it.

Joshy is looking to regain half guard here but Lynar keeps moving and retains side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Joshy wants to get back to his feet.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sebastion Lynar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Lynar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Joshy throws a hook to the side of Lynar's head but Lynar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Joshy misses with a straight right.
Lynar blocks a jab.
Lynar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bam Bam Joshy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lynar fails with the takedown.
Joshy seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Lynar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A jab from Joshy misses.
Lynar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sebastion Lynar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Joshy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lynar moves out of range of the strikes.
Lynar lands with a hook. Joshy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A combination from Joshy does no damage.
Lynar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Joshy's guard.

Lynar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Let's hope that Lynar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lynar is continuing to stall.
Lynar passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lynar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lynar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Joshy is looking to reverse the position.
The referee asks Lynar politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lynar prefers to stall for the moment though.
Joshy wants to control but Lynar postures up.

Joshy is looking to improve his position but Lynar isn't that keen on the idea.
Joshy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lynar on the ground.
Lynar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sebastion Lynar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Joshy throws a punch but it's blocked by Lynar.

Joshy tries to free his leg and advance position but Lynar is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joshy sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Lynar doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Joshy paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Lynar - great work!

A very excited looking Sebastion Lynar rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
