Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Vuce (ranked 3069 p4p, 4122 weight class) and Nick Holey (ranked 309 p4p, 387 weight class). Vuce comes into the arena with MC Yankoo blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holey tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Vuce counters with a two punch combo.

Holey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vuce is trying to defend but Holey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vuce keeps working.
Vuce throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Holey should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vuce tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Holey throws a strike but Vuce avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Holey wants to control from the top but Vuce keeps moving.

Holey has gone for a leg lock! Vuce slips out almost immediately though and dives into Holey's guard.

Vuce has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vuce throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Holey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Vuce arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Holey's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
