The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nowak goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Legs rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nowak's guard! Nice work there by Legs!
Nowak has his foot on Legs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Legs works his way back into a safe position though.
Nowak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Legs defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Jan Nowak will probably get the nod.

Legs cracks Nowak with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Legs has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nowak is on him like a limpet, forcing Legs back against the cage.

Legs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nowak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Legs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Legs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nowak is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Legs frees his head nicely. Oh but Nowak has switched to an armbar! Legs is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
