Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petrov (ranked 3066 p4p, 3285 weight class) and Dar Jee (ranked 186 p4p, 197 weight class). Jee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everybody Knows My Name. Peter Petrov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dar Jee's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dar Jee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Jee has knocked Petrov down with a huge combo! Jee steps away and waves a wobbly Petrov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Petrov is rocked!

It looks like Peter Petrov has been cut.
Jee throws a series of punches but Petrov moves out of range.
Oh Petrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petrov shoots in but no luck this time.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Petrov looks to score with a jab to the body but Jee is just out of range.
Jee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Petrov is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Petrov.
Jee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Petrov is fending him off so far but Jee persists. Nope, Petrov circles away and we're back to standing.
Petrov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petrov loses concentration momentarily and Jee pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Petrov crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jee finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dar Jee!
In his post fight interview, Dar Jee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
