Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tylonal Jones (ranked 2289 p4p, 5917 weight class) and Juares Dea (ranked 293 p4p, 595 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rubber band man. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dea dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Dea escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dea moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Dea forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Jones managing to block the knees to the body from Dea.
Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dea smiles and moves away.

Dea closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dea moves into the clinch successfully.
I was talking to Jones's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dea jumps guard but Jones stands there with Dea around his waist. Dea gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jones prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dea is stalling here.

Jones breaks from the clinch.

Jones rushes Dea and presses him up against the cage.
Dea fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tylonal Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juares Dea.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Jones is looking for a sweep. Dea is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
