Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Polinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kai Polinsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lucas Junior! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polinsky tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Junior swivels and escapes. Junior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Polinsky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Junior's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Polinsky looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Polinsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Junior is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Polinsky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Junior is keeping the position for now. Polinsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Polinsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Junior controls Polinsky momentarily but Polinsky frees himself. Junior keeping full guard, as Polinsky tries to pass. Junior is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Polinsky misses with a body kick. Polinsky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Junior is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Polinsky passes easily into side control. Nice work. Polinsky is looking to take a break and control but Junior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Polinsky tries to advance to mount but can't. Polinsky wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Junior, who protects the arm well. Polinsky in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Polinsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Junior keeps working. Polinsky is working to tighten is grip on Junior's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Junior has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Polinsky is really squeezing tight and eventually Junior passes out! Polinsky breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kai Polinsky!
