Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sol Goldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldstein has chosen Nothing to Prove by H2O as his entrance music. Sol Goldstein will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mako looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Mako counters with a three punch combo that has Goldstein backing up. Goldstein nods at Mako to acknowledge the strikes.

Goldstein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goldstein lands in his opponent's guard.

Mako might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mako is looking to stand up but Goldstein isn't so interested in that idea.
Mako wants to sweep here but Goldstein controlling him for the moment.

Mako had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Goldstein is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mako Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Goldstein's back instead.

Goldstein manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mako's guard. Nice work there by Goldstein.
