Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sickle Cell (ranked 5062 p4p, 24124 weight class) and Gregory Fartface (ranked 163 p4p, 213 weight class). Sickle Cell has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cell staying out of range there.
Cell doesn't manage to clinch there - Fartface circles away.
Cell shoots in but Fartface avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fartface throws a combination that misses
and Cell counters with a two punch combo.
Nice uppercut lands for Cell. That snapped Fartface's head back.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cell is defended easily by Fartface.
Cell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fartface paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fartface bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cell is trying to work for a sweep but Fartface has mounted him!

Cell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cell wants to hold on but Fartface pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fartface takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Fartface unloads with some shots from mount but Cell bucks and avoids them well.

Fartface throws some wild stikes that Cell manages to avoid easily.
Fartface prevents Cell from getting the reversal.
Cell is working hard here to advance position.
Fartface wants to control the pace but Cell is squirming around nicely.
Cell tries to lock up and control but Fartface gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cell is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cell reaches up and holds on to Fartface to control the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fartface slaps away a takedown attempt from Cell, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fartface stuffs the takedown.
Fartface throws a counter combo.
Cell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fartface swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sickle Cell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cell shoots in and drives through. Fartface sprawls well.

Fartface throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cell was covering up waiting for the punch and Fartface finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fartface drops back looking for a leg! Cell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cell manages to kick Fartface off! Fartface jumps back into Cell's guard.

Cell is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Fartface won't allow Cell to get back to his feet.
Fartface controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fartface looking to sit in guard and control but Cell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cell with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fartface has a closed guard, preventing Cell from standing up.
Fartface wants to control the position but Cell says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Cell moves nicely into side control.
Cell throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fartface wants to control but Cell postures up.

Cell stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Cell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fartface closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fartface lands in his opponent's guard.
Cell is trying to control the position but Fartface postures up.
Fartface wants to control from the top but Cell keeps moving.

Fartface decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cell, up you get!
Sickle Cell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fartface shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cell counters by clinching up.
Fartface prevents the takedown attempt.
Cell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fartface is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fartface is trying to break free.
Fartface tries to break free but Cell pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cell tries to pull guard but Fartface holds him up against the cage and eventually Cell drops back down to his feet.
Fartface is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sickle Cell will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Cell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fartface tries to avoid it but Cell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fartface to the ground. Fartface escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cell connects with a high kick.

It looks like Gregory Fartface has been cut.

Fartface closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cell did well to prevent Fartface getting side control.
Cell scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Fartface manages to mount him!

Fartface is working for a guillotine from mount but Cell frees his head quite easily.
Cell is desperately trying to improve his position but Fartface has a good base and remains in mount.

Fartface looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Fartface looking to ground and pound but Cell is blocking nicely.

Fartface is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Cell has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fartface is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cell knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cell for a finish.
