Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mizanin (ranked 5805 p4p, 4589 weight class) and Isaac Odorion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isaac Odorion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mizanin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Odorion, pushing him back against the cage.
Mizanin tries to score a body lock takedown but Odorion shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mizanin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Odorion avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mizanin manages to break the clinch.
Mizanin throws a shot from downtown. Odorion moves away and avoids it.

Mizanin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Odorion is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Odorion is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Odorion is looking to take a break and control but Mizanin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mizanin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Odorion pulls his head out easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Odorion lands a nice short elbow.
Mizanin is breathing heavily.

Odorion is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mizanin is just riding it out for now. Odorion eventually gives up the hold.
Mizanin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Odorion on the ground.

Odorion is keen to just control but Mizanin is a slippery customer.
Odorion is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Odorion is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mizanin is just riding it out for now. Odorion eventually gives up the hold.
Odorion uses his free foot to push down on Mizanin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mizanin.

Mizanin is squirming around, avoiding Odorion's attempts to control the action.
Odorion fails to take his opponent's back.

Odorion moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mizanin has worked his arm free - good work by Mizanin!

Odorion tries for a kimura but Mizanin is defending well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Mizanin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

No luck for Odorion with that takedown attempt.

Mizanin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Odorion kicks Mizanin off and gets back to his feet.
Mizanin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Odorion tries for a takedown but Mizanin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mizanin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Odorion defends it nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mike Mizanin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaac Odorion.
Mizanin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Odorion goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mizanin prevents it.
Odorion is pressed up against the cage. Mizanin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Odorion down to the mat. Odorion avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Odorion drops an elbow to the side of Mizanin's head.
Mizanin pushes Odorion off looking to stand but Odorion dives back in and keeps control.
Mizanin won't allow Odorion to pass to mount.

Odorion lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Odorion is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mizanin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Odorion goes for an armbar but Mizanin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Mizanin.
Odorion has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mizanin is posturing up here but Odorion has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mizanin tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mizanin has to tap! Slick submission there by Odorion!
