This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Roger Daly! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Jack Tupp!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Daly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Daly goes for a takedown attempt but Tupp pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Daly moves into the clinch successfully.
Daly is looking for a takedown.
Tupp prevents a takedown attempt there.

Daly has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tupp clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tupp trying to control the action but Daly just sinks the hooks in.

Daly has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tupp has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Tupp looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Tupp felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Tupp tries to roll but Daly sticks to his back.

Daly is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tupp is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
