Magomedov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lezginka - Kavkaz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Barnes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Magomedov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Barnes is trying to break the clinch but Magomedov is controlling him.
Barnes is trying to push Magomedov away but Magomedov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Magomedov winds up and cracks Barnes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Magomedov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Barnes wants to improve his position but Magomedov is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magomedov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Magomedov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Magomedov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barnes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Magomedov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Magomedov is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Barnes is hurt! He's hurt bad - Magomedov fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Barnes from any more punishment! Congratulations to Magomedov! Great finish!
