Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lotay Wangchuck (ranked 21467 p4p, 4008 weight class) and Naoise Durnin (ranked 599 p4p, 458 weight class). Durnin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangchuck fails with the takedown
and Durnin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Lotay Wangchuck has been cut.
Durnin throws a nice looking combination but Wangchuck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wangchuck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Durnin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Durnin slaps away a takedown attempt from Wangchuck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotay Wangchuck. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wangchuck has gone for a leg lock! Durnin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wangchuck's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wangchuck has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Durnin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
