Durnin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Lotay Wangchuck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Naoise Durnin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangchuck fails with the takedown
and Durnin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Lotay Wangchuck has been cut.
Durnin throws a nice looking combination but Wangchuck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wangchuck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Durnin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Durnin slaps away a takedown attempt from Wangchuck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotay Wangchuck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wangchuck keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Durnin misses with a looping right.
Wangchuck gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Wangchuck drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wangchuck trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wangchuck has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Wangchuck has gone for a leg lock! Durnin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wangchuck's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wangchuck has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Durnin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Durnin is posturing up here but Wangchuck has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Durnin tries to roll out but it's too tight and Durnin has to tap! Slick submission there by Wangchuck!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lotay Wangchuck!
Lotay Wangchuck tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
