Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Flintlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flintlock comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Undead by Hollywood Undead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flintlock scores with a jab to the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Flintlock looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Flintlock on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Alves. Alves obviously looking to wear him down.
Flintlock avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice combination there by Flintlock.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flintlock swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Flintlock throws a nice looking combination but Alves bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Alves throws a big shot that misses.
Alves thows a left - swing and a miss!
Alves throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Alves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thiago Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves misses with a low kick.
Alves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alves takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Flintlock doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.
Flintlock lands a head shot.
Flintlock connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alves's hands.

Alves is rocked!
Flintlock avoids the head kick by Alves.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flintlock lands a nice hook to Alves's body. Alves takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alves is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flintlock swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Flintlock misses with an uppercut. Alves saw that one coming.
Alves seems to have got his legs back now.
Alves walks straight into a right hand from Flintlock - that's dropped him! Flintlock jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Alves from any more punishment! Alves complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
