Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 3036 p4p, 4211 weight class) and Marques Moura (ranked 383 p4p, 477 weight class). Moura is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sepultura - Tainted Love. Frank Dux had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux punishes Moura's body with a nice straight punch.
Moura is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dux.
Dux looks to score with a jab to the body but Moura is just out of range.

Moura gets a double leg takedown into Dux's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dux wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Moura has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Hardcore Island MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Dux escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dux is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moura knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moura for a finish.

Dux has his foot on Moura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moura works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
