Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Wesley Taurus (ranked 1716 p4p, 2480 weight class) and Dave Wearmouth (ranked 245 p4p, 342 weight class). Taurus comes to the ring accompanied by Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taurus throws a hook to the side of Wearmouth's head but Wearmouth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Taurus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wearmouth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Taurus swats away the attempt to clinch by Wearmouth.
Wearmouth connects with a good right hand that stumbles Taurus. Taurus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Taurus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taurus tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wearmouth is able to avoid easily.

Dave Wearmouth decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
