Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Papa John (ranked 22941 p4p, 2326 weight class) and Vos Zy (ranked 471 p4p, 240 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Papa John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vos Zy!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by John misses
and Zy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps John thinking.

John rushes Zy and presses him up against the ropes.
Zy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Zy blocks a body shot from John.
John is looking to control Zy's arms but Zy gets an underhook and turns him. Now John has his back to the ropes.
Zy lands an uppercut.
Zy misses with a punch on the inside.
John pushes off an throws an elbow but Zy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Zy struggles to land a body shot inside as John controls his hands.

As Zy looks to move away, John throws a big counter combo but Zy just gets out of the way.

John wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
John tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zy throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! John crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zy - the referee stops the clock and John gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zy. John manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
John scores with a head kick. Zy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Zy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zy tries to land a leg kick but John saw it coming and moves away.

Vos Zy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zy throws a front kick aimed at John's knee but John avoids it well.
Zy looks for the body kick but John saw that one coming.
As Zy tries to get set, John tries to push him back and clinch up but Zy manages to avoid the attempt.
John takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Zy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
John has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zy.

Papa John is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vos Zy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and John has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from John and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Zy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Zy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Vos Zy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
