Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Crescent throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Crescent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Crescent is keen to just control but Machete is a slippery customer.

Crescent is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Machete has managed to free his arm - good work.
Machete won't allow Crescent to pass to mount.
Machete looks like he's trying to stand up.
Crescent is trying to control. Machete wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Crescent throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Crescent misses with the combination.

Crescent takes a swing at Machete's ribcage but misses.

Crescent shoots in and bounces Machete off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Crescent passes Machete's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Machete is trying to escape back to his feet but Crescent uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Machete manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Machete wants to stand up but Crescent is controlling the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Crescent manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Machete stands and steps away. Crescent gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Crescent throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Crescent decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Machete's guard.

Machete pushes Crescent off and scrambles back to his feet.
Crescent looks to score with a jab to the body but Machete is just out of range.
Crescent swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Crescent shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crescent showed some decent athleticism there.

Machete looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Crescent pushes past his half guard into mount!
Crescent postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Machete looks a forlorn figure.
Crescent lands with some strikes.
Machete is bucking up trying to escape but Crescent cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Machete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Crescent unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Machete wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Crescent celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
