Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayful Edmond (ranked 1626 p4p, 2550 weight class) and Duster Bouglas (ranked 243 p4p, 351 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rayful Edmond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duster Bouglas!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmond misses the body punch
and Bouglas counters with a leg kick.
Bouglas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bouglas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bouglas misses with a wild body shot.
Edmond takes a swing at Bouglas's ribcage but misses.
Edmond throws a nice inside leg kick.
Edmond tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bouglas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Edmond misses with a straight left.
Edmond seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edmond misses with a few strikes there.

Edmond moves in looking to clinch but Bouglas pushes him off.

Edmond misses with a series of wild punches.
A head kick misses from Edmond.
Bouglas feints a counter leg kick.
Edmond finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Edmond throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Edmond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bouglas lands a really nice looking cross but Edmond seems unphased.

Edmond paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Edmond throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bouglas counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Edmond throws a sloppy body shot
and Edmond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edmond tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bouglas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bouglas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edmond momentarily.
Bouglas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Edmond.
Bouglas looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Edmond throws a leg kick
and Bouglas counters with a stiff right hand.
Edmond lands a left and a right that send Bouglas crashing to the mat, dazed. Edmond thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bouglas is rocked!
Bouglas walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bouglas limp body while Edmond jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rayful Edmond!
A relieved looking Rayful Edmond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
