Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Phuc Dat Bich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stances Slumponyhu!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bich fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slumponyhu, pushing him back against the cage.
Bich jumps guard but Slumponyhu stands there with Bich around his waist. Bich gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bich jumps guard but Slumponyhu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bich fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phuc Dat Bich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bich jumps into guard, dragging Slumponyhu to the mat.
Bich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slumponyhu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slumponyhu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bich looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Slumponyhu is defending well. Bich quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Slumponyhu has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bich celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Phuc Dat Bich!
Phuc Dat Bich bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Stances Slumponyhu stepped up to the mic, saying 'Honored to lose to a warrior from Flint, Mi'.
