Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Rection (ranked 1861 p4p, 4604 weight class) and Antonio Gomes (ranked 246 p4p, 499 weight class). Antonio Gomes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Gomes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rection gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gomes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rection working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gomes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rection is tightening it up a little... Gomes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gomes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gomes taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rection!
