Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vunipola Veainu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruno De Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu throws the left hand but De Oliveira avoids the punch easily.
De Oliveira tries for a takedown but Veainu circles away easily
and Veainu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Veainu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tez’s Stand N Bang ! in the buildup to the fight.

and Veainu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Veainu drops De Oliveira with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but De Oliveira looks back up at him and smiles so Veainu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
De Oliveira is rocked!
It looks like Bruno De Oliveira has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Oliveira switches off momentarily and Veainu cracks him with a monster right hand! De Oliveira topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Veainu dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Veainu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vunipola Veainu!
