Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murska Puro (ranked 3278 p4p, 2576 weight class) and Terry Badmean (ranked 32 p4p, 77 weight class). Badmean has chosen Are You Gonna Be My Girl as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Terry Badmean!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badmean is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Puro misses with a kick to the body
and Badmean counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Puro throws a right and a left that Badmean avoids nicely.
Puro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Badmean is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Puro with a body shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Badmean.
Puro throws a left and a right that both miss
and Badmean counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Murska Puro has been cut.
Puro misses with a looping right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Badmean! But no joy.
Puro works Badmean's body with a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puro throws a sloppy head kick and Badmean moves out of range easily.

Badmean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Badmean slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Badmean goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Puro rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Badmean's guard! Nice work there by Puro!
Our spies down at at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) inform us that Badmean has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Puro wants to control from the top but Badmean keeps moving.

Puro has gone for a leg lock! Badmean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Puro's guard.

That's time! Puro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Puro throws a series of punches but Badmean moves out of range.
Puro loads up on a big right hand but Badmean slips the punch.
Badmean is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Puro with a body shot.
Puro misses the shot to the body.

Badmean shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Badmean was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Puro wants to control but Badmean postures up.

Puro is trying to escape the position but Badmean is controlling the position.
Puro tries to buck Badmean off but Badmean is having none of it.

Badmean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Puro keeps working.
Puro sneaks back into half guard.
Badmean is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Puro!
Badmean takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Puro tries to reverse the position but Badmean maintains control.

Puro gets back to half guard.
Badmean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Puro keeps working.
Puro gets full guard.

Puro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Badmean is aware though and is defending well.
Puro wants to sweep here but Badmean controlling him for the moment.

Puro isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Badmean stacks Puro on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Badmean!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Terry Badmean is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Puro bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Terry Badmean has got the better of the ground game so far.
Badmean wants to hit a sweep here but Puro passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Badmean there!

Puro thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Puro jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Badmean is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Badmean and Puro has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Murska Puro.
I think Badmean has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
