With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maverick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws the left hand but B Johansson avoids the punch easily.
B Johansson thows a left - swing and a miss!
B Johansson ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.
B Johansson looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
B Johansson doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.
Diaz tests B Johansson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Hugo B Johansson has been cut.

Oooooh!!! B Johansson has knocked Diaz down with a huge combo! B Johansson steps away and waves a wobbly Diaz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Diaz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Diaz has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. B Johansson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
B Johansson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
B Johansson is trying to drag Diaz to the mat but Diaz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Diaz wants to get back to striking at distance but B Johansson won't allow it.

Diaz is pressed up against the cage. B Johansson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Diaz down to the mat. Diaz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
B Johansson slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
It looked like B Johansson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A punch lands to the side of B Johansson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
B Johansson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diaz swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugo B Johansson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
B Johansson moves out of range of the strikes.
Diaz throws a jab when B Johansson was well out of range.

B Johansson lands a big head kick that sends Diaz tumbling to the mat! B Johansson takes a step backwards and waves Diaz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

B Johansson lands a huge takedown. Diaz is out but the ref is slow to react and B Johansson lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Diaz lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
