Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Winchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Kongo!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo shoots in for a takedown but Winchester shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Winchester attempts a counter takedown but Kongo avoids it well and moves away.
Winchester looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kongo fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Winchester counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Winchester lands a shot to the body.
Winchester pushes Kongo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kongo is trying to pull guard but Winchester has him pressed against the cage.
Dean Winchester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Kongo.
Winchester lands an uppercut.
Kongo wants to take the fight to the mat but Winchester manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Winchester tightens his grip and picks Kongo up, before dumping him to the ground. Kongo manages to land in guard.
Winchester lands a couple of digs.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kongo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Winchester content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winchester is working Kongo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Winchester lands a couple of elbows.
Kongo is rocked!
Winchester arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kongo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dean Winchester!
Dean Winchester bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
