Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hobo (ranked 3673 p4p, 25289 weight class) and Moe Moose (ranked 517 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Hobo or perhaps it was just good defense by Moose, which made it look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hobo.
Moose tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Moose throws a lazy body kick

and Hobo counters with a takedown into side control.
Hobo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Moose to see if he's OK.
Hobo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hobo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hobo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Moose is avoiding damage well.
Hobo misses with the ground and pound.

Hobo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Moose looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hobo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Moose is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hobo lets go of the hold and Moose can pop his arm back in it's socket.
