A slow jab from Omelchenko misses its intended target.
Wells bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Omelchenko's head.
Wells plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Omelchenko throws a hook but Wells avoids it easily.

letting Omelchenko counter with a right hand.

It looks like Kenny Wells has been cut.

and Wells takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kenny Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Omelchenko throws a hook to the side of Wells's head but Wells sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Omelchenko lands a left and a right that send Wells crashing to the mat, dazed. Omelchenko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
