Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dame Nitro (ranked 24841 p4p, 6882 weight class) and Kelly Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dame Nitro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kelly Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nitro counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Salvacion fails with the takedown
and Nitro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nitro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.
Nitro jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Dame Nitro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelly Salvacion.

Nitro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion avoids it really well and circles away.

Nitro feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Nitro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nitro is stalling in the full guard.
Nitro has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Salvacion is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salvacion is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Nitro presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Nitro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nitro is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard.

Nitro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Nitro finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Salvacion pushes Nitro off and gets back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dame Nitro will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Salvacion throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Nitro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Salvacion wants to stand up but Nitro is controlling him.
Nitro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion pushes Nitro off and scrambles back to his feet.

Nitro swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Salvacion doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Nitro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salvacion's guard.

Salvacion manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Salvacion misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nitro tries to break the clinch but Salvacion is controlling the position.
Nitro wants to get back to striking at distance but Salvacion won't allow it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kelly Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Nitro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
